DEVELOPMENTAL

Perfect for those budding basketball enthusiasts who are just starting to get the hang of the game. Here, we focus on teaching the fundamentals and building confidence on the court, ensuring each player learns at their own pace without the pressure of high-level competition.

PREMIER

Designed for our more seasoned athletes, the Premier division is where the game gets serious. These players come with skills already polished, ready to compete at a higher level, and eager to push their limits against the best in Las Vegas youth basketball.

RULES PER AGE GROUP

DEVELOPMENTAL BASKETBALL DIVISONS

The Premier Basketball Division at NextGen Athletics Basketball is designed for athletes with prior basketball experience who are ready for a fully competitive environment. This division welcomes established club programs and neighborhood teams, with new teams encouraged to join as well. Games in the Premier Division are hosted at Supreme Courtz and require local travel within the Henderson area.

This division offers an exciting competitive structure, including scores, standings, playoffs, and awards. Games are primarily scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays, ensuring a dynamic and organized season for all participants.

At NextGen Athletics, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of youth sports by fostering growth, development, and sportsmanship. As part of this commitment, all players must be certified through our NXGID system. Certification is free and valid for one year, requiring a copy of the player's birth certificate and/or their most recent report card. Certification is mandatory to ensure eligibility for play.

For athletes with little to no basketball experience, we encourage participation in our Recreational Division, which provides a supportive and developmental environment.

Team placement in the Premier Division is subject to availability. Players without a current team are encouraged to contact NextGen Athletics directly for assistance. While we aim to connect players with teams seeking additional members, available spots vary each season and are not guaranteed. Certain teams may also require tryouts.
