Media Policy

1. Purpose of Policy NextGen Athletics Nevada ("NextGen Athletics") is committed to promoting the growth and success of our players by utilizing content, including photos, videos, and other media, to highlight and showcase our players, teams, and events. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the use of media captured during NextGen Athletics activities.

2. Agreement to Media Policy By registering a player to participate in any NextGen Athletics programs, including leagues, tournaments, and events, the registering party (parent, guardian, or coach) agrees to the terms of this Media Policy. This agreement extends to parents or guardians of players registered by a coach or third party, regardless of whether the parent or guardian personally completes the registration.

3. Media Use NextGen Athletics reserves the right to capture, use, and publish photos, videos, and other media of players, coaches, teams, and spectators involved in our programs. These materials may be used for purposes including, but not limited to:

Promoting NextGen Athletics programs and events on social media, websites, and other platforms.Highlighting and celebrating player achievements and team success.Marketing and advertising campaigns.Educational and training materials.

4. Consent to Media Use By participating in NextGen Athletics programs, parents, guardians, and coaches acknowledge and consent to:

The collection of media during games, practices, events, and other activities.The use of such media in both digital and print formats without compensation.The understanding that media may remain accessible on public platforms indefinitely.

5. Registration by Coaches or Third Parties If a coach or other authorized individual registers a player on behalf of a parent or guardian, the parent or guardian acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Media Policy as a condition of the player's participation. It is the responsibility of the registering party to inform the parent or guardian of these terms.

6. Participation and Attendance By attending or participating in any games, practices, events, or activities hosted by NextGen Athletics, all attendees, including players, parents, guardians, coaches, and spectators, acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Media Policy. Attendance at these events constitutes an opt-in agreement to the capture and use of media as described in this policy.

7. Opt-Out Requests Parents or guardians who wish to opt-out of media use for their child must submit a written request to NextGen Athletics at [email protected] prior to the player's participation. NextGen Athletics will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests but cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all media.

8. Liability Release Parents, guardians, and coaches agree to release and hold harmless NextGen Athletics, its employees, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of media as described in this policy.

9. Amendments NextGen Athletics reserves the right to update or modify this Media Policy at any time. Updated policies will be made available on the NextGen Athletics website.
